I grew up at the most ridiculous time in China and graduated from Taishan Medical College, Shandong, China in 1982, as an MD. I was always interested in western culture, so I immigrated to Canada in 2005. For 10 years, I worked as a lab technician in the Sutherland lab at the University of Lethbridge in the Neuroscience Department. I have extensive research experience with neurogenesis, immunohistochemistry, and animal behaviour. I am very excited to be a research assistant in the NDOPL laboratory and I am determined to try my best to work with an excellent team. I like challenges and enjoy travelling to learn about different cultures!
